About the event
Lieutenant Colonel Kurt Lantz Carlson was born on November 11, 1946 in Rockford Illinois. He attended Wake Forest University, in Winston Salem, North Carolina where he attained a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree. He is the founder and owner of Carlson Companies, a commercial and residential developer and builder in N. Illinois and S. Wisconsin. His projects have included many large, multi-use developments including Sports and Community Service Complexes. He is the author of “One American Must Die”. He enlisted in the Army April 1969. LTC Carlson completed all of his military schooling between 1969 and 1994. He attended Basic Combat Training, Combat Engineer Advances Individual Training, Artillery Officer Candidate School, Ballistic Missile Officers Course, NBC School, Supple and Material Schools, Engineer School, Officer advanced Course, and Command and General Staff College. He was assigned to the 30th Artillery Brigade, 5th Sergeant Missile Battalion of the Southern European Task Force, Vincenza, Italy…
