Evening with Mayor Bradley Bean

Bradley Bean was born and raised in Fernandina Beach and comes from a long line of dedicated community servants. Bradley’s grandparents, Red and Joan Bean moved to Fernandina Beach after World War II for work. They chose to move to Nassau County because Joan had never seen the beach before. 

After graduating as valedictorian from Fernandina Beach High School, Bradley chose to continue his education at the University of Florida, where he earned his B.S in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a minor in Business. While Bradley explored options to start his career in other cities, he knew that returning to Fernandina Beach was the right choice for him. Not only did Bradley want to give back to the community that shaped him, he knew there was no other place in the world like Fernandina Beach. The city’s vibrant businesses, beautiful parks and friendly residents are difficult to find anywhere else.
